Assistant professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). He holds a Ph.D. from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy - 2011), an LL.M. in European law from the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium – 2007) and a diploma in international law from the Belarusian State University (2006). His professional interests cover human rights, EU law, constitutional theory and sociology of law.

He holds an M.A. in Political Science (European Studies Programme, European Humanities University, 2007), diploma in international relations (Belarusian State University, 2004). Professional interests cover Islamic theology, national liberation movements of the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. He is also a long-standing commentator for the journal “ARCHE” and weekly “Naša Niva” as well as a translator from English, German, Turkish and Persian. Currently he lecturers at the European Humanities University (Vilnius, Lithuania).
Hanna ŽARABCOVA
Editor Lawyer. In 2006, she graduated from the Law Faculty (Department of Economic Law) of the Belarusian State University. Currently she works as a legal adviser. Her professional interests cover civil, commercial and labour law as well as law and economics.

She holds a Master degree in Law and Information Technology (Juris magisterexamen i rättsinformatik) from the Stockholm University, Sweden (2008). In 2007 she graduated from the International Law Department of the Belarusian State University, where she has been specializing in European law. Professional interests cover law & ICT, legal informatics, law of mass media, human rights, European law and integration, democratic transhumanism.

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1985, Alexander Martynau finished his secondary education in Belarus and graduated summa cum laude from Minsk State Linguistic University (2007), Faculty of Cross-Cultural Communication.

In 2007, she graduated from the International Law Department of the Belarusian State University (“specialist in International law”). Professional interests cover copyright and patent law, global IP issues, biopiracy, medical law, biotechnology law, theory of legal transplants, sociology of law, human rights and cultural relativism.
