European Court of Human Rights Rules Against Ukraine | Hanna Žarabcova

European Court of Human Rights obliged Ukraine to pay 806 euros to a dweller of Krasnoarmijsk of Donetsk region Dmytro Nedbajev for prolonged non-execution of the court ruling in his case.

In 1997 Mr. Nedbajev brought an action to a city court of Dymytrov against SJSC “Vuhlebud” to cover the arrears of wages and receive compensation. In its decision of June, 20 1997 the court awarded him 8 thousand hryvnias. Nevertheless, the sum was paid in full as late as in 2005.

In order to protect his rights Mr. Nedbajev turned to the European Court of Human Rights. Strasbourg Court considered the complaint of Mr. Nedbajev and confirmed the violation of his rights. It obliged Ukraine to pay him 806 euros for the violations suffered as for immaterial harm.
