On May, 25 the Council of Ministers of Ukraine passed the regulation ¹ 751 “On approving the Order of Forming the lists of persons related to terrorist activity”.

It is laid down in the text of the regulation that the ground for inserting a physical or a juridical person in the list of persons related to terrorist activity is as follows:

  • The decision of a court, which has come into force, on bringing in the verdict of guilty of committing a crime, provided by article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine;
  • The information (documents), presented by the corresponding UN bodies, linked to terrorist organizations or single terrorists or physical persons;
  • The decision of a court or any other competent body of a foreign state concerning an organization or physical persons, connected to terrorist activity, who are recognized by Ukraine in accordance to the international agreements of Ukraine.

The list of persons who are linked to terrorist activity is compiled by StateInfoMonitoring during three working days from the date of receiving information (documents).

The list, as well as the alterations introduced, is passed to the subjects of primary and state financial monitoring by StateInfoMonitoring within two working days from the date of compiling the list or from the date of introducing alterations into the list.
