A visa via Internet | Kirył Kaścian

Malaysian authorities are ready to simplify the order of issuing entry visas from February 2006.

Anyone desiring to visit Malaysia will just have to fill in the visa form, which is available in Internet and mail it to a specified address. If one’s application is accepted, one only needs to pay consular fees via Internet and print the document stating his receipt of the visa. On arriving in Malaysia one will be given a special note in the passport and allowed into the country.

The innovation will not be confined to physical persons, for tourist agencies will be able to benefit from it as well.

The only two countries denied the right to employ the procedure are Serbia and Montenegro and Israel. The citizens of these countries are obliged to receive a special permit from their authorities.
